My two little boys run in circles
Both my dogs chase their tails
Keep them busy while you do your work
History proves this never fails
I remember a cloud of fear
And the rain it poured blinded us
And we learned to feel safe once again
Oh, how we needed someone we could trust
They said "We have no doubt"
They said "We know right where they are"
We believed and they deceived
Now, you bring the feathers and I'll bring the tar

We're not in Kansas anymore - Of that I'm certain
Pay no attention to the men behind the curtain
 They say I can't support our troops
Without supporting the war
Well, I can't support a lie
No, I can't support it anymore
How is it in these times of war
And on all these patriotic yard signs
That read "WE MUST STAND BEHIND OUR LEADERS"
With the followers on the front battle lines
Will a reporter please ask the commander in chief
While he's busy on the golf course
"Is this war worth one more single life?
Especially if that life was yours"
